Beginning Quilting 101

This session will be meeting Fridays 10:15-4; April 26, May 3, 10, 17, 24

May/June  session will meet Fridays 10:15-4; May 31, June 7, 14, 21, 28

July/August  session will meet Fridays 10:15-4; July 19, 26, August 2, 9, 16

We will focus on:

*proper cutting techniques
*how to apply borders 
*flying geese , strip piecing, and half square triangles which are used in so many patterns!
*binding and backing
*quilting tips 

First day of class will be talking about quilting tools and fabric, then a stop in the store to discuss color selection
and you will receive your class supply list.  There will be a 15% discount on your supplies purchased for class. 

Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: Must have knowledge of basic functions of your sewing machine; stitch selection, bobbin winding, and tension control.
Materials Included: You will be contacted prior to class with class list and an introduction from instructor.
