Creative Stitches - Edging Stitches POSTPONED
This is the first of six advanced embroidery classes being offered. You can choose the classes for what you would like to learn. Classes will be repeated if you are unable to attend the day they are scheduled. Each class is $30.00 with a minimum 0f 4 people as requested by the instructor.
- Edging stitches - those bordering the appliques piece.
- Filler Stitches - decoration the appliqued piece
- Bullion Knots -those pesky bees and bugs
- Cast on Stitches - love the Drizzle's and more
- Circles -Creating and embellishing circles with stitches
- Advanced Stitches -Palestrina, Rosettte Chain and more
Items Needed:
- A good embroidery reference such as Sue Spargos' Creative Stitching or Right or Left Handed Embroiderer's Companion
- #5 & #8 perle cottons,
- #18 and #22 or 24 Chenille Needles
- Bullion or Milliners #1 and #3 needles
- embroidery scissors
- freezer paper to copy templates
- Thimble if needed
- Personal lame if needed,
- Piece of practice wool and wool for sampler
- Templates from Pioneer Quilts.

| Skill Details: | You must take Beginning Wool Applique and Embellishment or have the ability to perform the following. Whipstitch wool applique to background, back stitch, running stitch, blanket stitch, and Lazy Daisy (Chain Stitch). |
