Beginning Wool Applique Class 101
Come join us and learn all the basic skills you will need to create your own wool masterpieces. We will take you step-by-step from the beginning to the end. You will learn the:
- History of Wool Applique
- How to select and prepare your wool
- How to transfer your patterns onto your wool
- How to uniquely individualize your project with embellishments using different embroidery threads, beads, buttons and more.
Supply list (items are available from the shop)
- 4" serrated blade sewing scissors
- Paper cutting scissors
- Pinking shears (optional)
- John James size 24 or 26 chenille needles
- John James size 10 or 11 gold'n glide Milliner Needles
- Flexie Fuse
- Pin cushion and pins, needle threader, notepad, pencil Pen
NOTE: As this is an all day class, feel free to bring a lunch or snack. We will supply the coffee/tea/water.
