Beginning Wool Applique Class 101
Come join us and learn all the basic skills you will need to create your own wool masterpieces. We will take you step-by-step from the beginning to the end. You will learn the:
- History of Wool Applique
- How to select and prepare your wool
- how to transfer your patterns onto your wool
- Teach you how to uniquely individualize your project with embellishments using different embroidery threads, beads, buttons and more.
At the end of the class our instructor will assist you with planning your next wool project.
Supply list (items are available from the shop)
- 4" blade sewing scissors
- Paper cutting scissors
- Pinking shears (optional)
- John James size 24 or 26 chenille needles
- John James size 10 or 11 gold'n glide Milliner Needles
- Soft fuse or Flexie Fuse
- Pin cushion and pins, needle threader, notepad, pencil Pen
