Beginning Quilting 102: Tulips

Session #1 meets Wednesdays 10:15-4 May 1,8,22
Session #2 meets Tuesdays      10:15-4 June 4, 11, 18
(When registering, select session 1 OR 2)

We will meet 3 Wednesdays to create this scrappy and colorful tulip quilt using methods we learned in the previous class, plus stitch and flip method,sashing without cornerstones, open seam matching, and revisiting borders.

You will need to purchase "Scrappiness is Happiness" by Lori Holt which is available at our store.

We will discuss fabric selection prior to class, basic requirements are found in book.

Tools required:

Sewing machine
75/11 Quilting sewing machine needles
50wt thread
Rotary cutter
Cutting mat
Sharp rotary blades
6.5x24 (apx) ruler
6.5 or 8.5 square ruler
12.5 square ruler
marking tool
Small scissors
seam ripper
