Supply List:
Two Contrasting Fabrics: Two (2) 22-24" or larger square pieces (100% cotton). Both fabrics should be solid or nearly-solid colors. Choose two colors with strong contrasting values. They may be light and dark of the same color or two different colors. I ALWAYS prewash my fabrics.
Millners/Straw Needles: Size 10 or 11
Thread for Applique': that matches your applique' fabric.
Thread for basting: color not important *use your "ugly thread)
Scissors: Thread snippers and paper scissors
Fabric Shears: good enough to cut through 8 layers of fabric. 8" Gingher shears or equivalent
Straight Pins
Pencil or pen: Permanent or temporary (no ball-point pens)
Masking Tape
OPTIONAL Items: reading glasses, thimble, needle threader, portable light
NOTE: This is a full day class - bring a sack lunch or snack. We will provide coffee/tea/and water
