Japanese Sashiko 102 - Slide Clasp Purse
This class if for those who have taken Sashiko 101. It is not a "how to stitching class," but a class to help you take your prepared and stitched panel for the slide clasp purse to completion.
Pre-Class Work:
- Fuse your Form-Flex woven fusible or Pellon Shape-Flex SF101B woven fusible to the back side of the entire piece of fabric provided in the kit.
- Complete the Sashiko stitching and do not, repeat, DO NOT, cut out the pieces in advance.
- Select your lining fabric. You will need a fat quarter.
- You will need scissors, hand sewing needles, your Sashiko needle from the kit, thread to match your fabric, a pair of pliers, your sewing machine with foot pedal and power cord, rotary cutter and small board. We will provide the power strips.
