Introduction to Wool Rug Hooking
In this one day class, you will be given a brief history of rug hooking, introduction to tools and materials, and the basic techniques, especially how to pull a loop.
For an additional fee of $15.00, payable to the teacher the day of class, you will receive:
- Printed handouts with basic instructions
- Linen backing, 14" square, and
- An option of one of three paper patterns
- 12" hoop
- 1/8 yard wool for background***
- 4 to 6 pieces - each measuring approximately 8 x 8" of various colors for the motifs. We carry a large selection of "Little Bits" in a myriad of colors that are perfect for these 4 to 6 pieces required***
- 1/8 yard black for border***
- Rug hooks
***Students may elect to select the wool during class after selecting their pattern, rather than ahead of time. Lynne will help you select the wools required.
