Exploring English Paperpiecing
English Paperpiecing has been around for many years. Some of us have our grandmother's garden quilt or blocks that were never completed. Join Leslie as she shares with you several methods for preparing your hexagon and elongated hexagon English paperpiecing projects. Please bring with you:
Hand sewing needles: Recommend Straw needles size 10 or 11
Thread: Cotton Aurifil 80 weight (bottom line) in neutral colors
Fabric: An assortment of fabrics at least 5 x 5
Scissor for cutting fabric and for cutting paper
Small cutting board with Rotary Cutter
Small iron with ironing pad
Notepad and pencils/pens for notes
Bohin or Sewline glue pen
Class Skill Level: Beginner to Advanced
NOTE: Since this is an all day class please feel free to bring a lunch or snack to keep your energy up. We will provide coffee, tea and bottled water for you.
